This portfolio consolidates the domestic project galleries—oceanariums, large viewing windows, aquarium restaurants and commercial displays—into one substantial record. Each entry below is drawn from Botao’s domestic project archive and company profile.
Selected installations
Representative installations documented in the domestic archive include:
- Mengfa Haida Tower, Ordos (Inner Mongolia): an 11 × 4.6 metre lobby aquarium built with a concrete-and-acrylic hybrid structure and acrylic viewing windows on four sides; acrylic panels and equipment supplied and installed by Botao.
- Mengfa Haida Water Park, Ordos: a 10 × 3.8 metre elliptical viewing tank with panels and system equipment supplied and installed by Botao.
- Urumqi Dehui Pet Park (Wanda Plaza, Urumqi): all viewing tanks and pool life-support systems supplied and installed.
- Shanghai Changfeng Ocean World: cylindrical-tank acrylic replacement, system adjustment and interior refurbishment delivered while the aquarium remained open.
- Shanghai Legoland: a full retrofit of the rafting river’s ozone treatment system, replacing the original failed equipment with a redesigned installation.
- Vietnam villa export project: a 3.6 × 1.3 × 2.8 metre monolithic acrylic aquarium, designed and constructed end to end by Botao.
- Hema Freshippo, Raffles City Changning (Shanghai): a transparent display room with all tanks built by Botao; the concept received Alibaba’s 2017 marketing innovation award.
Retrofit and refurbishment delivery
Several documented projects were delivered inside operating venues. At Shanghai Changfeng Ocean World, the cylindrical tank’s acrylic was replaced and its systems adjusted while the aquarium stayed open. At Shanghai Legoland, the rafting river’s ozone treatment system was dismantled, redesigned and reinstalled to resolve persistent water-quality and equipment reliability issues.
Export and brand-experience work
The archive also records a fully designed and constructed export aquarium shipped to a villa project in Vietnam (3.6 × 1.3 × 2.8 metres) and a Cadillac exhibition tank toured across Beijing, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Hangzhou. A transparent display room built for the Hema Freshippo store at Raffles City Changning in Shanghai received Alibaba’s 2017 marketing innovation award.
